The Royal Navy of Oman will stage a large-scale naval fleet review on 21 November 2025 at Qurum Beach in Muscat, marking one of the most significant maritime showcases in the Gulf region this year. The event will feature 45 naval vessels, including patrol ships, support craft and advanced maritime assets from Oman and other GCC states. The review highlights the region’s growing focus on joint defence readiness, maritime security and coordinated naval operations amid rising strategic competition in the Indian Ocean. Officials say the display reinforces the GCC’s commitment to secure trade routes and strengthen interoperability among member nations—an increasingly vital priority for economies reliant on steady energy exports and maritime logistics.
