Dubai has launched one of its largest humanitarian mobilisations, with thousands of volunteers gathering at Expo City Dubai to prepare food parcels destined for families in Gaza. The nationwide campaign aims to deliver 10 million meals, with the first shipments expected to reach the enclave by January as part of the UAE’s expanded relief operations.
The effort brings together Dubai government agencies, leading humanitarian charities, community volunteers from across the UAE, and specialised logistics teams coordinating secure delivery corridors into Gaza.
As food shortages intensify in the besieged territory, the initiative underscores the UAE’s strong humanitarian commitment and the public’s willingness to mobilise at scale. Officials say the drive will significantly speed up aid reaching vulnerable civilians.
