US Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth says talks between the US and Iran are making good progress.
“I can tell you, having been with Steve [Witkoff] and Jared [Kushner] and the Vice President [JD Vance], Marco [Rubio] and many others yesterday, they are very real. They are ongoing. They’re active. And I think, gaining strength, and we appreciate that, as I said my remarks, we would much prefer to get a deal if Iran was willing to,” he said.
