Trade and investment ties between the United States and the United Arab Emirates have accelerated sharply in the year since President Donald Trump visited the Emirates, according to a new report by the US-UAE Business Council.

The report said the UAE remains committed to its $1.4 trillion investment pledge to the US despite ongoing regional tensions linked to the Iran war. Public data compiled by the council showed more than $100 billion in investments and commercial agreements have been announced since Mr Trump’s May 2025 visit.

US exports to the UAE rose 16.23 per cent to $31.4 billion in 2025, while UAE exports to the US climbed to $7.6 billion. Major investments span artificial intelligence, energy, manufacturing and finance, led by firms including MGX, Mubadala and XRG. Officials said the UAE is deepening its strategic focus on American technology and energy partnerships.
