Kuwait says more than 60 injured in Iranian attack

Hospitals in Kuwait have received 63 injured people and carried out seven major emergency surgical operations following Iran’s attack on the country, the Health Ministry said today.

Spokesman Dr Abdullah Al Sanad said the health system has been on full emergency footing since the onset of the attack, with medical facilities and personnel mobilised to respond to the situation.

He added that the health sector remains on high alert around the clock as part of ongoing emergency response measures.
