UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, has strongly condemned the latest Iranian missile and drone attacks targeting Kuwait during a phone call with Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Jarrah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah. The two officials discussed regional security developments and denounced the renewed attacks as a serious threat to stability in the Gulf.
Sheikh Abdullah reaffirmed the UAE’s full solidarity with Kuwait and expressed support for all measures taken by Kuwaiti authorities to safeguard the country’s security, stability, and the safety of its citizens and residents. He stressed that Kuwait’s security is an integral part of the security of both the UAE and the wider Gulf region.
The condemnation follows a series of Iranian attacks on Gulf states that have heightened regional tensions in recent weeks. The UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs described the strikes as a flagrant violation of Kuwait’s sovereignty and called for respect for international law and regional stability.
