Oman’s Foreign Minister Badr Al Busaidi has hailed the US-Iran peace deal as a “timely win for diplomacy and common sense”.
In a post on X, Mr Al Busaidi wrote the “entire global community should welcome Iran-US understanding,” adding “warm thanks to all who helped get it done”.
Oman helped mediate US-Iran negotiations before the outbreak of the war on February 28. It has since called for a return to diplomacy to resolve the crisis.
