Qatar’s Foreign Ministry spokesman Majed Al Ansari today said negotiations between Oman and Iran on shipping in the Strait of Hormuz are now at an advanced stage.
“We have heard positive feedback from both countries,” he said.
Qatar supports any formula that guarantees the security of the Strait of Hormuz, freedom of navigation and prevents the waterway from becoming a tool for political pressure, he added.
