AD Ports Group is accelerating its international expansion with a series of major investments aimed at strengthening its position as a global trade, ports and logistics powerhouse. The Abu Dhabi-based group has continued to pursue an asset-backed growth strategy, combining acquisitions, infrastructure development and greater control over strategically important businesses.

One of its latest significant moves came in June 2026, when AD Ports Group increased its ownership of Global Feeder Shipping (GFS) from 51% to 81% through a deal valued at AED 1.1 billion (about US$300 million). GFS is one of the world’s largest container feeder operators, connecting major shipping hubs with regional ports across the Gulf, Indian Subcontinent, Red Sea, Far East, Mediterranean and Africa.

The group has also expanded beyond its traditional markets. In June, AD Ports agreed to acquire a controlling stake in Brazil’s CLI – Corredor Logística e Infraestrutura in a transaction valued at approximately US$835 million. The deal marks AD Ports Group’s entry into Brazil’s port and logistics sector and provides access to important export corridors.

These moves come as AD Ports Group continues to report strong financial performance. In 2025, the company recorded AED 20.77 billion in revenue and AED 2.07 billion in net profit.

With growing control of strategic assets and an expanding international network, AD Ports Group is positioning itself as a major force in global trade and logistics.
