Dubai is hosting one of the world’s major pharmaceutical gatherings as the 31st Dubai International Pharmaceuticals and Technologies Conference and Exhibition (DUPHAT 2026) takes place at Dubai World Trade Centre from August 25 to 27.

The three-day event has brought together more than 25,000 visitors and participants from 85 countries, alongside more than 1,100 pharmaceutical brands. The gathering provides a major international platform for pharmaceutical companies, healthcare professionals, researchers, regulators and industry leaders to exchange knowledge, showcase new technologies and explore opportunities for collaboration.

This year’s programme focuses strongly on the future of the pharmaceutical sector, including digital transformation, Pharma 4.0, advanced manufacturing, pharmaceutical innovation and the development of emerging talent. More than 100 scientific sessions, workshops and hundreds of scientific posters are contributing to the event’s extensive educational programme.

The UAE’s Emirates Drug Establishment is officially supporting DUPHAT 2026, highlighting efforts to strengthen regulatory development, encourage pharmaceutical innovation, support local manufacturing and build resilient supply chains.

With international participation continuing to expand, DUPHAT reinforces Dubai’s growing role as a meeting point for global healthcare and pharmaceutical expertise. The event also creates opportunities for companies and institutions to develop partnerships, explore new technologies and contribute to the future of healthcare.

For the UAE, the gathering further highlights Dubai’s ability to host large-scale international industry events while connecting global expertise with the region’s growing pharmaceutical and healthcare ecosystem.
