UAE Reaffirms Strong Support for Lebanon’s Stability and Prosperity

The United Arab Emirates has reaffirmed its strong support for Lebanon, highlighting its commitment to the country’s security, stability, sovereignty and sustainable development.

Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, UAE Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, held a telephone conversation with Lebanese Prime Minister Dr. Nawaf Salam on August 26, during which he praised the Lebanese government’s efforts to strengthen the country’s security and stability.

Sheikh Abdullah affirmed the UAE’s full support for these efforts and reiterated the Emirates’ steadfast backing for the Lebanese people and their aspirations for security, development and sustainable prosperity.

The two officials also discussed the longstanding fraternal relations between the UAE and Lebanon, as well as opportunities to expand cooperation and joint action in areas of mutual interest.

Their discussions reflect the UAE’s continued emphasis on supporting Lebanon’s institutions and strengthening conditions that can contribute to long-term stability and economic progress.

The UAE has consistently expressed support for Lebanon’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity. In previous discussions, Sheikh Abdullah has also backed efforts aimed at achieving sustainable security and stability in the country.

The latest conversation reinforces the UAE’s constructive engagement with Lebanon and its commitment to strengthening bilateral ties.
