The UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure has secured two major honours at the Gulf Green Mobility Forum Awards 2026, recognising the country’s progress in digital innovation and leadership within the transport sector. The awards were presented in Salalah, Oman, during a forum that brought together transport leaders, officials and experts from across the Gulf.
The UAE’s Maritime Bundle received the Digital Innovation Award for its innovative approach to integrating digital maritime services, simplifying procedures and improving the customer experience. The project was developed as part of the UAE Government’s Zero Bureaucracy Programme, redesigning the customer journey and bringing multiple services together through digital solutions.
A second honour went to Eng. Hessa Al Malek, Advisor to the Minister of Energy and Infrastructure for Maritime Transport Affairs, who secured first place in the Leading Woman in Mobility Award. The recognition highlights her leadership and contribution to advancing the UAE’s transport ecosystem.
The achievements demonstrate how the UAE is combining technology, efficient government services and national talent to modernise its transport sector. The Maritime Bundle’s recognition at a regional forum also highlights the UAE’s ability to develop digital solutions that can serve as models for wider Gulf cooperation.
The Gulf Green Mobility Forum focuses on sustainable mobility, innovation and the development of more efficient and lower-carbon transport systems across GCC countries.
Together, the two awards represent a strong regional recognition of the UAE’s commitment to digital transformation, sustainability, women’s leadership and world-class government services.
