The United Arab Emirates has strongly condemned the latest Houthi attacks targeting civilian and economic facilities in Saudi Arabia, reaffirming its full solidarity with the Kingdom and its commitment to regional security and stability.
In a statement on September 8, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned attacks on facilities in Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran, which resulted in injuries among civilians, including women and children. The UAE also denounced continued attacks targeting commercial vessels in the Red Sea, stressing the importance of protecting maritime navigation and international trade.
The UAE described the attacks as a violation of Saudi Arabia’s sovereignty and a threat to its security and stability. Abu Dhabi reaffirmed its support for Saudi Arabia and for measures aimed at protecting the Kingdom, its people and its national interests.
