Saudi Arabia’s Civil Defence issued alerts on Tuesday night for the southern cities of Jazan, Abha and Najran, where dozens of civilians were reported injured earlier on Tuesday in attacks by Yemen’s Houthi rebels.
The alerts, which advised citizens to take shelter indoors without specifying the nature of the threat, were lifted minutes later, with the Civil Defence saying the danger had passed.
