The United Arab Emirates is strengthening its global engagement in artificial intelligence with a five-day government delegation visit to the United States focused on the latest developments in Agentic AI and its applications in government.
Organised by the UAE Government’s Artificial Intelligence Office in collaboration with the Dubai Centre for Artificial Intelligence, the delegation includes more than 50 Chief AI Officers and government leaders from federal and local entities. The mission is designed to give UAE officials direct exposure to advanced AI models, technologies and approaches being developed by leading organisations.
During the visit, the delegation is engaging with major technology companies and academic institutions, including NVIDIA, Microsoft, Google, Dell Technologies, Salesforce, AMD, Snowflake, Databricks, Cognition and Poolside, as well as Stanford University. Discussions focus on the development, deployment and responsible use of Agentic AI at scale.
The UAE aims to translate the knowledge gained during the mission into practical applications across government services and operations. The initiative also provides opportunities to explore new partnerships and strengthen national capabilities in advanced artificial intelligence.
The visit supports the UAE Government’s ambitious target of transforming 50% of government sectors, operations and services into Agentic AI-powered operating models within two years. The national strategy focuses on using AI to improve efficiency, accelerate execution and create more proactive government services.
The mission represents the UAE’s proactive approach to staying connected with global technology developments while building its own AI expertise. By bringing together government AI leaders, international technology companies and leading academic institutions, the UAE is creating stronger pathways for knowledge exchange and innovation.
The initiative further reinforces the UAE’s ambition to develop a future-ready, technology-driven government and strengthen its position as a global centre for responsible AI innovation.
