UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan received US Senator Joni Ernst in Abu Dhabi on Friday for talks focused on strengthening the strategic partnership between the UAE and the United States.
The meeting reviewed opportunities to deepen co-operation between the two countries and reaffirmed their shared commitment to developing bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest. Discussions also addressed regional security and stability, with the two sides exchanging views on efforts to advance peace in the Middle East and beyond.
The meeting was attended by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court for Special Affairs, and Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Tahnoon Al Nahyan, Adviser to the UAE President, along with other senior officials.
The talks come amid heightened regional tensions and continued US engagement in the Middle East. The meeting highlights the importance of sustained diplomatic dialogue and close co-operation between Abu Dhabi and Washington as both countries address regional security challenges and broader efforts to promote stability.
