Abu Dhabi is hosting the fifth Healthcare Leaders Summit – Abu Dhabi 2026, bringing together leading policymakers, healthcare executives, scientists and specialists from around the world to discuss the future of healthcare.
Held on September 22–23 at Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, the summit is hosted by Forbes Middle East under the patronage of Sheikh Nahyan bin Mubarak Al Nahyan, UAE Minister of Tolerance and Coexistence, in partnership with PureHealth. The event features more than 100 speakers and around 3,000 participants.
This year’s theme, “Defining Global Standards in Healthcare Excellence,” focuses on major developments shaping healthcare systems, including artificial intelligence, longevity and precision health, population health, smart care ecosystems, scientific innovation and sustainable investment.
The summit provides a platform for healthcare leaders to exchange expertise, explore emerging technologies and discuss ways to improve healthcare outcomes. Sessions are examining how AI, data and advanced technologies can support more personalised and predictive approaches to care.
The programme also includes Doctor’s Circle, featuring CME-accredited sessions by Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City, allowing physicians to exchange clinical knowledge and earn continuing education credits.
With participation from regional and international healthcare leaders, the summit highlights Abu Dhabi’s role as a destination for healthcare innovation, knowledge exchange and global collaboration. The event also provides opportunities to develop partnerships and explore practical approaches to building more efficient, resilient and sustainable healthcare systems.
