Abu Dhabi has unveiled its new FIDA finance cluster, a multi-sector ecosystem spanning fintech, insurance, digital assets and alternative investments. Designed as a key pillar of the emirate’s diversification strategy, FIDA aims to build a globally competitive and well-regulated financial hub.

The initiative brings together the Abu Dhabi Department of Economic Development, the Abu Dhabi Investment Office, international fintech firms, insurers, reinsurance players and institutional investors.

FIDA is projected to contribute $15.2 billion to GDP by 2045, attract at least $4.6 billion in new investment and create 8,000 skilled jobs. For GCC professionals, the cluster signals major opportunities in finance, technology and risk, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s ascent as a leading regional financial centre.
