Dubai Airports has issued a high-traffic advisory as the UAE enters one of its busiest travel periods of the year. Passenger volumes at Dubai International (DXB) are expected to peak between November 26–30, driven by holiday travel, returning residents and major regional events. Authorities have deployed additional staff and smart-gate support to manage the surge efficiently.
Airlines have advised passengers to arrive at least three hours before departure and use online check-in to avoid congestion. Traffic around Terminal 1 and Terminal 3 is expected to remain heavy throughout the week.
For professionals and frequent travelers, early planning is essential — delays in airport queues and road traffic may affect work schedules, meetings and same-day travel commitments. The advisory aims to ensure smoother, safer flow during the seasonal travel rush.
