Iran has suspended all domestic flights until further notice after authorities closed parts of the country’s airspace, state-linked Tasnim News Agency reported today.
Tasnim cited the Iran Airports and Air Navigation Company as saying all flights from airports across the country had been cancelled following the issuance of a Notice to Airmen by the Civil Aviation Organisation.
The company said the decision was taken after the closure of western Iranian airspace and that no domestic flights would take to the air until further notice.
