Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei met Parliament Speaker Mohammad Baqer Ghalibaf “to discuss the latest military, economic and cognitive warfare” waged by the US and Israel, state TV reported on Wednesday.
The meeting also addressed strengthening national unity and social cohesion, the role of lawmakers in maintaining public support, and continued public gatherings, the report said.
Mr Ghalibaf also briefed Mr Khamenei on parliamentary activities since the start of what Iranian officials have called the “third imposed war,” as well as current and future plans to tackle the country’s challenges.
