H.H. Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum has approved a sweeping package of initiatives under the Dubai Plan 2033, aiming to make Dubai the world’s most beautiful, livable, and healthiest city. Chaired by Sheikh Hamdan, The Executive Council endorsed integrated strategies across education, aviation, sports, finance, public health, and green infrastructure.
The plan allocates AED 18.3 billion to expand greenery with 310 new parks and 322 upgrades, while 60 new affordable schools will add 120,000 seats. The aviation sector will gain 15,000 jobs and 4,000 training slots. By 2040, 80% of residents will live within a five-minute walk of a park — marking Dubai’s next decade of sustainable urban excellence.
