Qatar’s Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman held a phone call with the Deputy Ruler of Abu Dhabi and the UAE National Security Adviser Sheikh Tahnoon bin Zayed on Tuesday.
The leaders discussed Pakistani mediation efforts between the US and Iran, and ways to support mediation aimed at de-escalation to enhance regional security and stability, said Qatar’s Foreign Ministry in a statement.
They also stressed the importance of supporting ongoing mediation efforts to reach a lasting peace agreement.
