Fourteen sailors have been rescued after a ship was hit off the coast of Yemen, the Indian government said.
A projectile hit the Indian vessel, MSV Faize Noore Oliya, causing it to capsize and sink in the Red Sea, officials said.
India’s Ministry of External Affairs condemned what it said was an attack on the vessel. There was no immediate claim of responsibility from Yemen’s Houthi rebels, who have been firing on ships in the area.
