UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan held talks with Jordan’s Foreign Minister Ayman Safadi to discuss the ongoing Iran war and its regional implications.
During the meeting, both leaders strongly condemned Iranian attacks, describing them as a clear violation of sovereignty, international law and the UN Charter. Safadi reaffirmed Jordan’s full support for the UAE and its measures to protect citizens and national security.
The discussions also focused on the broader regional situation, including developments in Gaza, the West Bank and Jerusalem, as well as the humanitarian crisis affecting Palestinians. Both sides stressed the importance of coordinated international efforts to achieve lasting peace.
The talks come amid heightened tensions following recent missile and drone attacks across the Gulf, with leaders calling for stronger global action to prevent further escalation and ensure long-term regional stability.
