His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, honoured six distinguished recipients of the Great Arab Minds Award 2025 at a ceremony held at Dubai’s Museum of the Future, celebrating Arab contributions that “advance civilisation and build societies.”
The annual award, the largest of its kind in the Arab world, recognises excellence across natural sciences, engineering and technology, medicine, economics, architecture and design, and literature and arts.
Winners included Prof. Majed Chergui, Prof. Abbas El Gamal, Dr. Nabil Seidah, Prof. Badi Hani, Dr. Suad Amiry and Prof. Charbel Dagher, each receiving Dh1 million.
Sheikh Mohammed urged continued innovation, underscoring the initiative’s role in inspiring younger generations and strengthening the region’s scientific and cultural impact.
