Toyota’s new bZ3X electric SUV is rapidly winning over Chinese buyers, marking a strong comeback for the brand in the world’s largest EV market. Priced at around $15,000, the RAV4-sized compact SUV is produced through the GAC-Toyota joint venture and has sold more than 10,000 units for two consecutive months. The momentum contributed to a 3.5% rise in Toyota’s October 2025 sales.

Offered in multiple variants with different battery sizes and ranges, the bZ3X targets value-focused EV shoppers. Its early success signals renewed confidence in Toyota’s electric strategy as the company readies more models in its expanding bZ lineup.
