The United Arab Emirates has carried out its 29th medical evacuation operation from Gaza, airlifting 57 patients and their family members for urgent treatment in UAE hospitals. The mission was completed yesterday via an Israeli airport as part of the country’s ongoing humanitarian response to the crisis.
The medical evacuation, directed by President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, is part of the UAE’s sustained commitment to provide medical aid and critical care to those affected by the conflict. UAE aid agencies coordinated the transfer and medical arrangements to ensure safe passage and immediate hospital access upon arrival.
With this latest mission, thousands of Palestinian patients have now received specialized care in the UAE under the humanitarian initiative. Officials emphasize that the operation reflects the country’s values of compassion, solidarity, and global responsibility.
Observers note that the UAE’s continued efforts reinforce its growing role in international humanitarian diplomacy, while strengthening the wider GCC region’s reputation as a center of partnership and soft power.
