President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met French President Emmanuel Macron in Abu Dhabi on Sunday during a working visit that underscored the depth of bilateral relations. The meeting took place at the Zayed National Museum, where the two leaders exchanged New Year greetings and reviewed the historic and strategic partnership between the UAE and France.

Discussions focused on expanding co-operation in economic investment, culture, renewable energy, advanced technology, artificial intelligence and sustainability. Sheikh Mohamed hosted a lunch in honour of President Macron, attended by senior UAE leaders and ministers, alongside the French delegation.

The visit reflects growing alignment between Abu Dhabi and Paris on innovation, climate action and responsible AI, building on agreements signed earlier this year to advance long-term strategic collaboration.
