UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan was warmly received by Kuwait’s Emir, Sheikh Meshal Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, during a fraternal visit to Kuwait on Thursday. The leaders met at Bayan Palace, where they discussed strengthening bilateral relations and expanding cooperation across key sectors, including economic development and regional partnership. During their talks, both leaders stressed the importance of promoting stability, security and lasting peace across the region. The visit came hours after Kuwait’s air defences intercepted missiles and drones launched by Iran, underscoring growing regional security concerns. Sheikh Meshal also hosted a luncheon in honour of Sheikh Mohamed and the accompanying UAE delegation before the President concluded his visit. Senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed and Sheikh Saif bin Zayed, accompanied the President, highlighting the close strategic and fraternal ties between the UAE and Kuwait.
