The United Arab Emirates, in collaboration with Google, has officially launched the “AI for All” initiative, marking a key milestone in the nation’s digital transformation agenda. The announcement coincides with UAE Coding Day and underscores the country’s commitment to building an AI-ready workforce.

The new program will provide free artificial intelligence training to students, professionals, small and medium enterprises, and content creators nationwide through 2026. Courses and workshops will focus on prompt engineering, generative AI applications, and digital productivity tools aimed at strengthening skill development across sectors.

According to government projections, the initiative supports the UAE’s strategic objective of contributing AED 298 billion, approximately 81 billion US dollars, to the national economy through AI-driven growth.

Google has already trained more than 430,000 UAE residents in digital skills, and university students will now receive 12 months of complimentary access to Gemini 2.5, Google’s advanced AI model, for hands-on learning and research.

Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications Omar Al Olama stated that the program reflects the UAE’s vision of “making every citizen AI-ready,” aligning with the goals of UAE Vision 2031 to position the nation as a global hub for innovation and technology.
