Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid praises UAE’s soft power status

Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Ruler of Dubai, has praised the UAE’s leadership after the country secured 10th place in the Global Soft Power Index, underscoring its growing international influence.

Announced at the World Economic Forum in Davos, the index evaluates 193 countries using insights from business leaders, policymakers and civil society figures, making it one of the most comprehensive measures of national perception and influence.

In a post on X, Sheikh Mohammed highlighted that the UAE ranked second globally in giving, third in economic growth opportunities and eighth in diplomatic influence. He said the country’s global presence continues to expand, strengthening international confidence in its development model built over the past five decades.

The UAE delegation in Davos is led by Sheikha Latifa bint Mohammed, chairwoman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority.
