Lebanon’s army has renewed a call for people returning to their homes in the south to exercise caution “amid a number of violations” of the ceasefire with Israel.
The notice, issued hours after the 10-day ceasefire went into effect at midnight on Thursday, said several Israeli attacks were recorded, “in addition to intermittent shelling of a number of villages”.
