Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has approved an ambitious five-year Soft Mobility Expansion Plan aimed at transforming the emirate into one of the world’s most pedestrian- and cyclist-friendly cities. The strategy seeks to encourage healthier, more sustainable travel by significantly expanding infrastructure for walking, cycling, e-scooters, and other environmentally friendly transport options across Dubai.
