Abu Dhabi has opened the booking and purchase process for 1,500 residential units in the West Baniyas Housing Project, marking another major step in the emirate’s commitment to providing high-quality housing options for Emirati families.

Developed by Modon Properties, the project is designed as an integrated residential community with facilities and services that support comfortable, family-focused living. Construction is expected to be completed in the second quarter of 2027.

A key feature of the initiative is the greater flexibility offered to housing beneficiaries. Eligible citizens can now select their preferred home within the project, taking into account factors such as family size, housing benefit type and financial capacity.

The project also places a strong emphasis on family connection. Eligible relatives can coordinate to select neighbouring homes, where available, supporting closer family living and strengthening social ties in line with Abu Dhabi’s Year of the Family initiative.

Another notable feature is the future-ready design of the homes. The units have been planned to allow for future expansion, giving families greater flexibility as their household needs change over time.

The booking process is being conducted digitally in phases, with eligible beneficiaries receiving personalised access links through SMS. The approach is designed to make housing selection more convenient while giving citizens greater choice in finding a home suited to their needs.

With 1,500 new homes and an integrated community environment, West Baniyas represents Abu Dhabi’s continued investment in family stability, quality of life and sustainable residential development.
