Dubai Launches New Humanitarian Air Bridge for Gaza

Dubai has launched a new humanitarian air bridge to support the delivery of urgent aid to Gaza, strengthening the emirate’s role as a leading logistics hub for global relief efforts. The initiative is designed to speed up the dispatch of essential supplies to civilians affected by the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

The air bridge will use Dubai’s established aviation and logistics infrastructure, including its humanitarian city and extensive warehousing network, to coordinate the movement of food, medicine, medical equipment, and shelter materials. Officials said the aim is to ensure that assistance reaches those in need as quickly and efficiently as possible.

Aid is expected to be flown to neighbouring destinations before being transported onward through approved channels, in coordination with international organisations, relief agencies, and regional partners. Authorities stressed the importance of safe, secure, and well-organised delivery to maximise impact on the ground.

The UAE has consistently been among the leading providers of humanitarian assistance to Gaza, supporting initiatives that include medical aid, food distribution, and the treatment of the sick and wounded. The new air bridge adds to these efforts and reflects the nation’s long-standing commitment to solidarity and compassion.

Leaders emphasised that humanitarian work remains a core national value, and called on the international community to step up support and ensure unhindered access for aid.

Further details on flight schedules, aid volumes, and participating organisations are expected to be announced in the coming days.
