Kuwait has strongly condemned continued Iranian attacks against its territory, calling them a violation of its sovereignty, security and territorial integrity.
In a statement, the Foreign Ministry said the attacks formed part of a persistent pattern of aggression and constituted a serious breach of international law, the UN Charter and a UN Security Council resolution.
The ministry called on Iran to immediately cease the attacks and reaffirmed Kuwait’s commitment to taking all necessary measures to protect its territory, citizens and residents.
It added that Kuwait reserves all its rights under international law to safeguard its national interests and security.
