The US military said on Wednesday that it has redirected two commercial vessels attempting to enter Iranian ports since Washington restarted its naval blockade against Iran.
“Since restarting the naval blockade against Iranian ports 17 hours ago, US forces have redirected two commercial vessels attempting to run the blockade,” the US Central Command said in a statement.
The command added that US forces remain on alert and prepared to ensure compliance with the restrictions on maritime traffic linked to Iranian ports.
