A Dubai-based school has propelled UAE rugby onto the global stage after reclaiming a major international title at the prestigious Rosslyn Park National Schools Sevens.

The Jumeirah English Speaking School (JESS) Arabian Ranches Under-16 girls team secured a dominant 27–12 victory over Redborne Upper School in the final, with standout player Grace White scoring four tries.

Despite disrupted preparations caused by regional tensions, including school closures and limited training, the team displayed resilience and composure throughout the tournament.

The victory marks a remarkable achievement, as JESS has now won the title three times in succession, reinforcing its growing reputation internationally.

Players said their success has earned recognition in the UK, highlighting how their performances have helped place UAE school rugby firmly on the global map.
